We are a Client-Oriented Service Provider, and we understand that sourcing job needs specialists who can feedback clients’ need quickly and do their work effectively. Therefore, our assigned personnel will communicate with you consistently and to implement sourcing works to keep in tune with your objectives.
Sourcing standard procedure as below:
- Get sample / prototype / photo / draft / idea from Client
- Client demands and culture study
- Sample / prototype / photo / draft / idea reviewed by our sourcing team
- Assign a team leader to shoulder up the responsibility in sourcing
- The team leader contact at least 3 manufacturers and communicate with them and get quotations, lead time and initial samples.
- Make comparison of the initial quotation, trade terms and samples’ quality, and then recommend 2-3 best candidates for client.
- If denied by client, re-sourcing of new manufacturers.

Our philosophy is to build quality into product from the very beginning. We focus on three stages: Developing, Production and Final Inspection.
QC in Developing
We assist both client and supplier in developing and sampling. We support manufacturers to find qualified while low-cost materials so as to cut down product cost. With our professional knowledge we will assist manufacturers to build quality into product at the developing period. We can also assist factory for the necessary lab test / certification if required.
QC in Production
Pre-production meeting with manufacturers will be arranged and it’s for both factory production managements and Bothgrow Inspector to study the approved sample and to make sure production can go on smoothly and MP products can achieve same or higher quality than approved sample as well as to set up the quality standard for both factory and Bothgrow to follow. The PP Meeting shall be held after sample approved and before mass production.
PP Meeting mainly focuses on the below four steps:
- Sample review and study --- Review and Study the sample closely, point out production difficulties and quality weak points.
- Factory’s question discussion --- Factory must make sure production can go on smoothly to meet the delivery as well as quality standard. If factory foresee any production problems or quality deviation, factory must raise it up during PP Meeting for discussion. For unavoidable quality deviation, we will work with factory to make an acceptable deviation range with the approval of clients.
- Clients’ quality requirement --- We will advise factory of clients’ quality requirement which factory must fully abide by.
- Set up quality standard --- After discussion and base on mutual agreement, the quality standard will be fixed for both parties to follow during mass production.
Upon receiving order, factory must set up the Work-In-Progress (WIP) plan and set each procedure’s lead time. If there’s any change of the WIP, factory must advise both client and Bothgrow. Bothgrow can assign professional inspector to factory to check material, components, accessories and lab test results when they are ready if requested by clients.
Final Inspection
During final inspection, random samples are drawn from finished products based on a statistica etc. Detailed specifications, such as shipping mark, retail box printing, bar code, product quantity, size, color, appearance and function, will be verified to assure they conform to clients’ requirements.
For example, use AQL 2.5 (major), 4.0 (minor) as the inspection standard, we have an order of 30,000 units to inspect. Then according to AQL Table, the allowed maximum number of defective unit is as follows:
- Critical Defect - 0
- Major Defect - 14
- Minor Defect - 21
We can do 100% inspection for goods of high value at clients’ request.

| Q. Can you provide me with a sample before mass production? |
A. Yes, usually factories will provide samples for your approval. And final inspection of goods will be based upon those approved samples. |

A. No you don’t. The size and type of products will dictate the best logistics. We can arrange it to you using Full Container Load (FCL), Less Container Load (LCL), or air freight. |

A. Your privacy and IPR protection is important to us. We often arrange mutually agreeable non-disclosure agreements (NDA) and IPR protection. |

Bothgrow maintains great relationship with forwarders of Express, Air/Sea Freight. Therefore, we can get competitive price with better service for our clients.
The Logistic Service we provide including:
- Collect bulk goods from different suppliers and send together to cut freight
- Coordinate suppliers to deliver FCL/LCL goods to our nominated forwarder or maritime company.
- Organize and consolidate the shipment with supplier, forwarder and shipping company.
- Report shipment status to clients, such as ETD, ETA etc.
- Coordinate the sending of documents, such as Invoice, Packing List, B/L, C/O etc
Regarding to the selection of transportation ways, Express, Air Freight or Sea Freight, we have listed the Pros and Cons.
Express (Incl. DHL, UPS, FedEx, TNT etc.): It’s a suitable logistic solution for goods that are under a hundred Kilograms. Or if clients need the goods urgently, then express can be used. It’s door to door service as well as very fast in speed (Normally, takes 3 – 5 working days).
Air Freight: It’s a suitable solution for goods that are of hundreds of kilograms or tons, and clients need the goods a.s.a.p. Then, this is the most economic way. (Normally, takes 5 – 7 working days).
Sea Freight: It’s suitable for FCL/LCL goods, and clients do not need goods urgently. This is the most cost-saving solution of all logistic ways (Normally, takes 20 – 45 days).
Bothgrow will help our clients to find the most fitting logistic way according to the goods, weight, size, and requested lead time of shipping. And then we will coordinate with the consolidation of shipment.
